26.05.09 : Off Day @ DRA 108

so here is my supper at work, brought from home. Roti Dalcha Banjir.

fine, fine night at workplace. except a guest feeling ill in the early morning. an in-house doctor was called in. the rest was fine, Alhamdulillah

i board on the free shuttle service from the workplace to Clarke Quay. thank you Mr Foong.

this morning i'm heading to my Gujarati friends place. i will resting there while they are out to school. good night guys! see you soon.

i woke up to a very-very cold room with noises on the door. it's almost 1345hrs. they're back from school and excited for an OJT interview later at Clarke Quay. rush-rush. interview at 1430hrs. don't forget your umbrella, it looks like it is going to rain soon. thank you 'Papu' (Kunal Rana) for your raisins 'prasad' (a gracious gift - anything, usually edible)

good luck guys! safe journey and to Bharat (a new friend) too.

while the boys are out, Amit offered offered to make me a cup of tea. thank you Amit. i enjoyed the tea with some Channa (Chick Peas) - it stated on the packet and claimed "Very Test Full" - i almost choked. it means very tasteful is it? yes.

the boys are back not long after and informed me that the interview is postponed and brought forward to the evening between 1830hrs-1900hrs. so they have ample time to enjoy tea-time in the room. i was offered Zyka 'Methi Khari' a very crispy and fluffy pastry with a dash of spice flavour. i was offered another round of tea. thank you guys... never expect this kind of hospitality... i'm touched and honored.

i continued my rest and had a very good chat with the boys. later, i was left alone in the room while they went out for the interview. i continued my sleep... night-night again.

i was so freezing cold in the room. i used 2 layers of blanket... still it gets to my bones. i don't dare to touch or search for the AC remote in the room (rather die freezing - hehehe)

i was hungry. so i decided to have my meal for the day. off to CMK - me, Kunal & Rahul. i had 2 Prata Kosong, surprise-surprise it was Rahul treat. thank you "Darling 64"

went back to the room and some of the boys are busy in the kitchen. Dipak was preparing Spicy Fried Idli. some left over Idli at Amit workplace was brought home. honestly speaking i truly enjoyed the Spicy Fried Idli, a taste out of this world. simplicity that's explode with flavours in your tongue. me love it!
