25.02.09 : Peck Hoon Teng

night shift with Frosie, just the 2 of us will managed the counter. we will survive, Insya'Allah...

treat myself and Frosie for supper. i had one of my favourite menu again for tonight. Chicken Salsa Sandwich. while Frosie settled for BLTC **without the T = Tomato/ got it? instead of having a "plain" Fries that comes along, i dash lots of Parmesan Cheese, Chili Flakes, Black Pepper and Mint Sauce. i called my creation = Sprinkle Fries... like it so much.

it was not a busy night after all and it started to rain, few minutes before my shift ended. thank you GOD for the rain... i stayed a little while, almost an hour and the rain stop. thank you GOD, for stopping the rain. time to go home.

i stopped by at a coffee shop along River Valley Road. it's very near to the bus stop. i guessed i never eat here before. let's breakfast! the coffee shop is called Peck Hoon Teng, mainly the stall inside served Chinese food. only one Indian stall - Briyani River Valley. i had Bihun Goreng with Chicken Cake & Fried Egg. if you ask me, what is Chicken Cake? it is something like a Fish Cake except it is made of chicken and flour, anyway it taste nice and compliment the Bihun Goreng. yummy.

bought some Wholemeal Bread and a French Loaf for grandma. sure she gonna love it. arrives home feshen up and picked another VCD to watch. i decided to watch 'Bukan Cowok Idola'. a plain simple story. nothing i would comment, maybe this sort of movie is useful for passing time. nevertheless i watch towards the ending.

switch off the TV, switch off the VCD player. sleep sopi! goodnight...

i woke up to the sound of thunder and rain. followed by the unmistakeable sound of the blender from the kitchen. grandma seems busy in the kitchen meeting her Wade order for tomorrow. can i help? grandma refused but tell me that she had prepared Ikan Serping Goreng and Sayur Bayam Goreng for my dinner. it is 1642hrs on the wall clock. later i helped myself to an early dinner. i enjoyed the fish with Sambal Belachan and few dashes of Kicap Manis. lovely, thank you grandma.

i rest for a little more after dinner. for an hour or more staring blankly into the room while sitting down on the floor. soon i was drifted to a sleep.

the loyal alarm sounded at 2100hrs. it was time to get ready for another night shift.
