We at Toshiba have recently completed a thorough review of our overall strategy for HD DVD and as a result of the recent market developments; we have reached a decision to discontinue the HD DVD business in order to contribute to the sound development of the market and to focus on the interests of consumers as our top priorities.

As a result, Toshiba will cease shipments of our HD DVD players by the end of March, 2008 although we have every intention of continuing to provide full product support and after sales service to our customers.
