thank you April for sharing the Donut from Donut Factory during the night shift... sarap ko man!i went home. shower and went to bed. no breakfast this lovely morning, just too sleepy.
it was around 1500hrs when i hear a few music instrument being tested at the void deck. it was a band of musician getting ready for a Chinese funeral rites. i just lost my sleep.
late lunch, early dinner. rice with Bakwan Tipis and Telur Sambal. simple yet tasty. thank you grandma. me like!the day turn to evening i was tolerating the culture. nothing shocking, i have my utmost respect and i could bear with it, provided my TV volume is blasting at 42bar. so i don't see any problem.
do you?
then the full ritual starts. the band is in the house! the lady singer was blasting high on her powerful vocal. i think there is two of them. one sounded too senior. then there was this male voice so macho, so "abang-abang"...
i wish i could join them in the (sad) ceremony but somehow my community forbids. nothing wrong with paying respect to the dead but i have no intention to upset my family by singing in a Chinese funeral... i envy the band. to the family of the demised, my deepest condolences to you. i can feel the lost in the way the rites and the music from accompanying band were performed.
after the Malay news on Suria i got ready for work.
