14.02.09 : No Valentine's Day

i was about to turn in (sleeping). the telephone rang, it was 0425hrs on the wall clock. it was Cik Guy on the other end.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un... departed was my grandaunt, Nek Esah, grandma elder sister. i have to break the news to grandma... the task i never like. i woke grandma up from her sleep and convey the sad news, grandma took it calmly... we get ready and waiting for subuh to arrived.

my duty is to send grandma to my aunt Tina place at Yishun. we leave the house as early as possible.







following are the rites and ritual of a Muslim funeral:

equipment use for cleaning and cleansing of the body...

equipment use for carrying the body to the graveyard...

the prayer for the dead...

the last words, from anyone, if any...

the last prayer before we leave for the graveyard...

1402hrs - 14Feb a day i will not forget. demised of our beloved.
