30.03.09 : Mee Rebus @ Seri Chempaka

since last night at workplace, i have this thought of having Seri Chempaka Mee Rebus at Beach Road...
i fulfilled my desired. Alhamdulillah...

finally i arrived at Beach Road after work. almost 0930hrs.
breakfast:a glass of Teh-peng and a bowl of Mee Rebus.

my friend Baby now work at Seri Chempaka,
the stall is run by my late mother close friend,
Cik Zah & Cik Rashid. how delicious is the Mee Rebus?
look at my bowl after i finished it.

29.03.09 : Breakfast at Tekka

i arrived at SP like a "fallen diva", late and tired.

Kriss wanted to have breakfast. we suggested at Tekka.
myself, Julie Duyung & Max tagged along for breakfast,
while the others are busy in AJNet.

Julie Duyung had Lontong with Bagedil & Tepung Ikan Bilis.
Max settled for 2 Prata Kosong as he is still not familiar with our local food.

me and Kriss set on having Nasi Campur in the morning.
Kriss had Sotong Masak Hitam, Ikan Goreng, Bagedil & a bowl of Siput Sedut Masak Lemak Cili Api malatops... me like it dry, i had Paru Goreng, Tempe Goreng Tepung, Tempe Hiris Berlada and Urap Taugeh Kacang Botol sedap nak mampos...

i reached home,
freshen up and reach for my pillow.

i woke up at 2030hrs. grandma started to put on the fire.
while i was taking my shower grandma prepared dinner for us.
we had Bening Bayam, Ikan Tongkol Goreng & Sambal Terasi Belado. fuyoh...!

grandma told me to have a piece of JollyBean Pancake with Red Bean filling. i will take it to workplace grandma. thank you so-so much. love you!

28.03.09 : Dark

my nephew & nieces are fast asleep. will missed their antics.

woke up at 0500hrs to my loyal alarm. getting ready for work. it would the first time i'm travelling from the western part of Singapore going to work in the morning.

bought some take away breakfast. will share with Rizwan. i have Kasuwi, Kuih Jepun, Kuih Lapis Nyonya & Kek Apam. lovely...


i skipped lunch at workplace. a little busy and later head home in anticipation of Earth Hour. i also planned to visit my Donat because i really miss my Donat...

reached home, i helped myself to some Bread & Hati Masak Rempah, sodap eh jang cecah-cecah...


im getting ready, shower time. as i stepped out from the shower room i found something strange. something i don't expect at all... and i'm so dissappointed. very-very dissapointed...

someone have breach my trust, take what is mine and have no courtesy to inform and apologise. it really drag down my mood for anything that i wanted to do. i'm so frustated. very frustated.

i cancelled all my plan as i could not go anywhere... with nothing. damned!

it is near to Earth Hour while i was doing my thinking... 2025hrs. i turned off every electricity device not just the light and closed my eyes... in hope i will forgive (but i will never forget)

4hours passed by in silence... the darkness i felt is not because of what is going on but what have happen... i'm somehow truly sad.

27.03.09 : Boon Lay

it was raining outside and i think i willl not be sleeping tonight. let's meet my friend. the clock showed it was 0106hrs in the morning.


i survived the wee hours with tonnes of simple fun and giggles. early morning arrived and i'm ready to go to work. i will survive i told myself.

no lunch earlier on, just a quick bite before i left my workplace. i had some Mini Cakes at the canteen.


i'm going to Boon Lay, meeting my sister Farhana. i took bus service 51 towards Jurong East Interchange, with reason that i could catch a nap in the bus. it would be more than an hour bus ride. good for me. smiled...

i arrived at Jurong East and switched to MRT towards Boon Lay. from there my sis Farhana will pick me up.

i was so engrossed with my 6month old niece Maskura that i don't have time to snap a few pictures of her. laughed... (next time ya)

i'm going to Boon Lay Shopping Centre for the first time. located just behind my sister house at Avenue 6.

we head down to an internet cafe, helping out my sis, preparing some document. we finished it before an hour. while my brother-in-law Din was fixed to watching YouTube. once finished i'm going crazy with hunger. let's eat.

Farhana & Din recommended a "Nasi Lemak Power" stall to me. which i declined. i just don't have the feel for Nasi Lemak on this rainy days. the queue was long, it must be good i guessed. nevermind, next time.

instead i found a stall that makes my appetite rise. yeay! we all do take-away, eat at home.


i tried the so called Nasi Lemak Power. nothing unusual or extra special just finding it over-rated and expensive. sorry... but the Char Kway Teow & Carrot Cake that i had was really delicious vava voom... i truly enjoyed.




oh yes for 4 strips of Paru Sambal that cost S$1.50 is a little bit too much (expensive) yet the taste was okay-okay.

**i rather eat Nasi Lemak at Rowell Road. smiled...

26.03.09 : Food Only

i just want to tell you about the food i have for today...
home: i had Fried Potatoes, Fried Egg, Fried Tofu & Fried Tuna showered with home-made Sambal Manis... thank you grandma, it was simple and delicious.


at work (canteen): i had plenty of Tau Pok & Char Kway with Rojak Sauce malatops gilos...


at home: late dinner was Ikan Tongkol Goreng with Achara & a dash of Lemon Juice minta ampun sedapnya...

25.03.09 : SP Nite

i spend time at SP. had supper at Shafina. i'm in the mood for a Prata Kosong & Teh. yeay!

we (me & friends) had a good gathering though the numbers had shrink. the spirit is present. love it!


at work: i was going hungry rushed down for some bites and saw one of my favourite dish. Fried Garlic Stem with Tofu, i had plenty of it & 2 pieces of Glutinous Rice with Mushroom wrapped in Lotus Leaf. yummy-yummy... me happy

**oh actually i have eaten my dinner, i knew many would guessed i skipped my meals from time to time... i have only to say to all of you thank you for caring. love.love.love.

24.03.09 : Lost In Love

since i'm in the vicinity of Little India, i invited Ade & Asep for supper. me not having anything tonight. just Milo Dinosaur will do. Ade & Asep had Nasi Goreng Kampong Ikan Bilis . look tasty but no thanks. we were joined by Eddy shortly after that.


while Asep decide to go home, i and Eddy bring Ade for a round trip to Geylang district. Ade mention and describe it as "KFC" trip. we laughed on the statement.


after dropping Ade at his place, Eddy send me home. thank you so much Eddy!

not wanting to sleep, i decided to watch another Indonesian movie shot in Paris. the movie titled "Lost in Love" starring the cute beauty, Pevita Pearce, the gorgeous Richard Kevin & my darling, Arifin Putra. good movie... i find it funny & clever to mixed Indonesian & French language. i like this kind of romantic comedy movie. almost 0445hrs when it ended. sleep time sopi!!!


i wake up in time to delicious smell from the kitchen. grandma had prepared lunch: Lemak Tempe Pucuk Ubi & Ikan Kerapu Goreng Gurih. malatops!... thank you grandma. simple yet delish. some Sweet Thai Papaya for dessert. love it.


working in the afternoon shift. i had more trainees on duty than the full time staff. good.

i decided to drop by the canteen having some bites for dinner: i had Fried Noodles with a piece of Sambal Fishball and Fish Ngor Hiang. lovely-lovely. followed by some Green Tea and Strawberry Mini Cakes. not bad dishes what?


i received an sms from Busu Zizi. tonight we will have a "forum perdana" at or regular hang out spot - Shafina. will see you there lovely people!
